Following a successful 2024 and with ambitious growth plans for 2025 and beyond, we are looking to add a Trainee Recruitment Consultant/Resourcer to our team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in recruitment within the construction industry.

Job Overview: You will be working on a busy trades and labour desk, specialising in placing temporary workers into the construction industry. The roles you will be working on include positions such as labourers, handymen, carpenters, electricians, and other trades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities by speaking to potential clients.
  • Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
  • Candidate Registration: Source and register candidates for current and future roles.
  • Vacancy Filling: Use job boards to find suitable candidates for open positions.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee the weekly payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Compliance Management: Collect and verify necessary compliance documents, including right-to-work checks, reference checks, and relevant qualifications.
