This job description outlines the role of a Supervisor in charge of overseeing cleaning and waste operations within the company. The role is focused on ensuring the delivery of high-quality services through effective supervision, team motivation, and process improvements while maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:-
Service Delivery:
- Plan and supervise cleaning and waste activities, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Conduct quality, health, and safety audits.
- Ensure staff are trained in safety protocols and adhering to job-specific safety measures.
- Manage staff timekeeping, attendance, and performance.

Collaboration:
- Develop and motivate team members through effective communication.
- Maintain strong relationships with line managers and clients.

Empowerment:
- Identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure staff receive adequate training.
- Present information to management, colleagues, and customers.

Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in reviews and meetings to gauge customer satisfaction.
- Promote products and services to customers.
- Essential: Supervisory experience, relevant experience in cleaning and waste, health and safety knowledge, IT proficiency, problem-solving skills.
- Desirable: HNC or equivalent, experience using systems, analytical and motivational qualities.
