SF Recruitment have partnered with one of our corporate clients in Birmingham City Centre who are looking to recruit a Compliance Manager on a permanent, hybrid based.

Salary: £55,000-£65,000
Working pattern: hybrid

Responsibilities will include:

- Promote and support the embedding of a culture of compliance. Provide coaching to members of the wider team.
- Point of contact for the Onboarding team to deal with queries and provide solutions.
- Provide technical advice on compliance issues, including but not limited to anti money laundering, client due diligence, GDPR, conflicts of interest, Lexcel standards.
- Conducting compliance risk assessment training workshops.
- Conducting internal reviews and audits.
- Advising internal management and partners on the implementation of compliance programs.
- Manage external compliance partners i.e. SmartSearch.
- Developing risk management strategies.
- Following up on compliance issues that require investigation.
- Evaluating compliance systems and ensuring adequate systems are in place.
- Creating regular reports on compliance.
- Dealing and being the point of contact for the regulators and auditors.
- Provide advice and guidance to teams on compliance.
- Conducting regular GAP analysis on new and updated controls and best practices.
- Conduct any other ad-hoc duties as requested from time to time.
