Hybrid work pattern: 1 day per week in the office within West Midlands
Responsibilities of the Head of Building Safety and Compliance:
- Overseeing the compliance across essential areas such as fire safety, asbestos, gas and electrical installations.
- Managing the building safety for a residential block in line with legislation.
- Line managing a team of compliance officers overseeing emerging risks.
- Budgets management and liaising with external stakeholders.
The successful Head of Building Safety and Compliance will have:
- Extensive experience in a similar role within a social housing setting, ideally within property compliance
- Relevant qualifications in the compliance sector
- Experience improving a building safety service quality.
