Our client is a leading provider within their industry and specialise in servicing and maintaining a wide range of printers.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer who has great customer service skills to join their dynamic team and become part of this great, innovative and professional organisation.

The area that you will be looking after is the M4 corridor and the surrounding areas. They are very generous with travel and hotels and expenses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining printers at various customer locations across the UK.

The main duties will include:

  • Providing both remote and on-site technical support and troubleshooting for printer-related issues.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of printers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with customers to identify their needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Installation, setup, and configuration of printers and software.
  • Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and customer interactions.
  • Providing training and support to customers on printer operation and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as an an engineer in the field, ideally for printers though this is NOT essential as training will be provided to candidates with relevant technical expertise.
  • Ideally knowledge of printer components, functionality, and troubleshooting techniques though again, not essential
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while travelling to different locations.
  • A valid UK driving license.
