Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Core hours are between 8.00am-4.00pm and 9.00am-5.00pm. 22 days holiday + 8 statutory bank holidays

SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of FMCG products who develop and produce a wide range of personal care and homecare products. They are now looking for two (2) Technical Managers to lead product innovation, formulate and develop leading products, lead and manage projects with internal and external stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance. This role would suit candidates with several years' experience within the personal care, home care and biocides industry.

Role / Description

  • Formulate and develop a wide range of personal care and home care products
  • Drive customer projects from initial concept to successful product launch.
  • Lead technical projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Stay ahead of environmental and regulatory changes to keep products compliant and sustainable.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify trends and optimise raw materials for enhanced performance of products
  • Act as the technical liaison between the sales, operations and marketing teams

Requirements

  • A degree in a science-related field like Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in new product development and new product innovation (NPD&NPI), research and development (R&D), or project management.
  • Recent lab-based experience formulating personal care and homecare products.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
