Location: Midlands (Predominantly remote working, will have to travel across UK and into Europe occasionally) Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus Benefits: Scottish Widows pension, health care, death in service, 25 days annual leave & IT equipment The role of the Technical Product Manager - Aluminium Systems will involve:

  • Technical Product Manager role dealing with a manufactured range of fenestration hardware and aluminium profiles
  • Acting as the key liaison between the Aluminium Systems Manager, the UK Technical Team, and the European Product Management Team
  • Provide in-depth technical feedback on aluminium window and door hardware, identifying gaps or areas for improvement based on customer feedback and market trends
  • Contribute technical input for new product development, ensuring hardware solutions meet customer demands and compliance standards
  • Participate in the quality assurance process, ensuring all hardware solutions meet regulatory and technical standards
  • Support testing phases and post-launch evaluations, providing feedback to both the UK and German teams on potential improvements
  • Providing technical support both in-house and externally as "product guru" for aluminium technical solutions

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Product Manager - Aluminium Systems with:

  • Must have extensive experience within the fenestration / aluminium systems market sector
  • Product Manager, Technical Manager and Sales backgrounds would be considered
  • Ideally will have proven experience working with international product management teams
  • Must have a good understanding of CAD
  • Comfortable with monthly reporting and diary planning
  • Self-motivated, communicative, relationship builder
