As part of my clients growth plans, they are seeking an enthusiastic individual to drive new business as well as maximise current opportunities into a variety of industries - automation, energy, automotive, rail, defence, construction.
The company has an exceptional reputation for quality and operates from a modern, well invested manufacturing facility providing sub-contract Laser cutting, CNC forming/bending, welding and fabrication.
The Role:
- Planning, managing and interacting with both existing and new customers.
- Research and seek out market intelligence to ensure opportunities are generated, promoted and converted
- Assist in the production of technical quotations
- Visit customers to assess requirements and possible opportunities
- Demonstrate the technical capabilities offered
- Daily use of CRM and ERP systems
- Develop the UK sales territory with a view to introducing additional industry sectors and opportunities
You:
- Technically and commercially astute within a sub-contract engineering environment.
- Proven record of servicing technically challenging industrial environment - eg automation, energy, automotive, rail, defence, construction
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain existing and build new relationships.
- The ability to initiate customer contact and generate technical enquiries with a commitment to follow through to execution.
- Will have experience as either Internal Sales, Inside Sales, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager within a manufacturing environment
Package:
- Salary 50 - 60k doe
- 6k car allowance
