Job Title: Multimodal Coordinator
Location: Central Birmingham
Salary: 28,000 - 35,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Hybrid

Role Overview:
An experienced Multimodal Freight Coordinator is needed for a growing freight forwarder based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate should have expertise in road freight operations (import and export), along with knowledge of air and sea operations. The role involves managing EU Road Freight operations from start to finish, including all related documentation, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring smooth communication within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day EU Road Freight operations from booking to invoicing.
- Handle Air and Sea operations, ensuring smooth processes from start to finish.
- Deal with Groupage and documentation.
- Raise Job files and necessary operational paperwork.
- Liaise with suppliers and clients, ensuring accurate invoicing.
- Work closely with the sales team, assisting with quotations and service information.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Road Freight Operations (specifically Export).
- At least 2 Years proven experience within a freight forwarding role, for a UK based freight forwarder
- Knowledge of Air and Sea operations is desirable.
- Familiarity with EU Import and Export operations is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
