Control Service Engineer
Midlands based. You will be working from home and traveling to customer sites.
Salary: 56,000 & company benefits, depending on knowledge, and experience.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Control Service Engineer to join our growing team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, working with high-speed automated machinery, equipment, and robotic systems. You will be resolving controls and commissioning-related issues within fast-moving pressurised industrial sectors. Taking responsibility for projects within fully automated intralogistics systems.
Key experience and skills required for the Control Service Engineer:
- You should be able to modify ladder logic/structured text PLC code as a minimum, if you can write PLC code from scratch then this would be highly beneficial.
- Read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
- Experience PLC programming, especially with TIA, S7 or Beckhoff TwinCat2/3, as well as extensive knowledge of fieldbuses, HMI systems and frequency converters.
- qualification in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or mechatronics.
- Experience working on high-speed automation systems, including packaging & labelling machinery, pneumatic systems, conveyors, bagging & wrapping machinery, robotic machinery, and other material handling equipment.
