Sonic Summary

The position is for a Control Systems Engineer based in Birmingham, offering a salary of £50 per hour and classified as outside IR35.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the field, preferably in the Oil and Gas, Renewables, or Energy industries.
Essential skills include electrical, electronic, and software design, as well as software coding for PLCs or similar logic controllers.
Applicants should have a solid understanding of industrial automation protocols and experience with purchasing parts from Control Unit BOMs.
A minimum of HNC is required, while an HND would be advantageous for applicants.

Essential Requirements:

10+ years' experience working as a Control Systems Engineer
Experience of electrical, electronic and software design of the controls in the development of new tools
Production of software code for a PLC or similar logic controllers
Understanding of industrial automation protocols
Experience with the purchase of parts from Control Unit BOMs ensuring timely supply for equipment build
HNC minimum HND would be advantageous
