Business Development Manager- Birmingham

40,000-50,000 + Commission+ vehicle

One of the UK's leading Water Treatment Consultancies are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their office in the Birmingham to assist with their new office's growth!

The company are independently owned and operate nationally from their sole office in the Midlands. They offer their services within Water Hygiene, Water Treatment & Plumbing to private & public sector clients.

The ideal candidate will come from a Water Hygiene/Legionella Management Consultancy background and have 2+ years' experience within a Sales/Account Manager position in this environment.

The role will include;

  • Working closely with Senior Management to grow their national presence
  • Follow up leads made by the sales team & attend 2/3 appointments daily
  • Utilise the company's database and monitor performance targets and forecast sales
  • Prepare sales reports
  • Implement sales strategies to maximise profit/performance
  • Costing & Tendering contracts to ensure margins are achieved.
  • Build & maintain key contacts within the industry to ensure the company are the go to choice for all things Water Hygiene.
  • Account Management of existing accounts
  • Upselling/Cross-selling services
  • Conduct monthly sales meetings with management

The role will require the successful candidate to have experience in all of the above, a full UK driving license and flexibility to work independently from home.
