This is a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join an ambitious and growing construction company where you will be involved in a number of projects in the Commercial sector, all whilst playing a pivotal role within the businesses growth.

This growing construction company specialise in the construction of commercial projects in and around the Midlands. With the majority of their projects being new build projects, ranging from healthcare to student accommodation. With a strong focus on quality throughout the whole process has coincidentally found them solid success as of late and has resulted in a strong workbook for the next coming years. This is why they are looking to add to their long standing and dynamic work force with this exciting opportunity.

In this role you will take on a number of responsibilities where you will be working directly with the Director. Your main responsibility will be at the forefront of the businesses growth where you'll be involved in find new business for the company, by liaising and building relationships with councils and local authorities. As well as that you will also be involved in improving the outlook and appearance of the company to attract new business. Finally, amongst other responsibilities, you will also be involved of the pre-construction phase where you will be involved in the tender stage and also be the first point of contact for client through the projects starting phases.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will be someone with previous business development experience in the construction industry with could JCT and D & B contract knowledge to ensure an immediate impact. As well as having a full UK drivers license to be able to travel across the Midlands.

• Business Development Manager
• Previous business development experience within construction sector
• Good Knowledge of JCT and Design & Build contracts
• Commutable distance to their office in Central Birmingham
• Full UK drivers license
