I am looking for a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer to join my client a leading provider of communication systems. This is a remote role, the successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing sales into the Water Utilities Industry targeting companies such as Thames Water, Southwest Water, and Severn Trent and others.

The successful Business Development Manager will have experience selling communications, telemetry, SCADA and instrumentation solutions, ideally into large Water Utilities companies.

Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities, proactively targeting large Water Utilities companies.

Build strategic client relationships, create long-term relationships with key-decision makers and stakeholders.

Drive revenue growth, take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closures, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Work closely with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure the smooth delivery of customer requirements.

Lead the development of proposals and tenders closely matching client needs.



Requirements:

Proven track record in B2B sales and negotiations.

Experience selling into the Water Utilities Industry, targeting companies such as Severn Trent, South West Water, Thames Water plus others.

Experience with sales CRM tools.

Proficient with data analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
