Our client, a leading manufacturer of battery powered products with manufacturing facilities in USA, Vietnam, and China, with its latest expansion into the UK battery storage system sector, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead their battery storage system B2B sales efforts in the UK.

They are not just about manufacturing battery powered products; they are committed to shaping an electrified future through innovation, invention, and large-scale manufacturing, all aimed at creating a more efficient world. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing their mission by forging strategic partnerships with wholesalers, distributors, and system installers.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher, with at least 5 years of experience in market development/sales position—ideally in energy storage, renewable energy, consumer electronics, or related industries
  • Well-connected with UK national and/or regional battery storage system distributors, wholesalers, and key account customers, with the ability to leverage these relationships to drive sales growth
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute efficiently
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and comfortable using it in a professional setting
  • A team player with an open, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for business needs

What will your role look like?

  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with UK nationwide and regional distributors, wholesalers, and key account customers to strengthen our market presence
  • Ensure an effective distribution network while maintaining pricing integrity and meeting sales targets
  • Lead localisation efforts for our products and brand through targeted marketing campaigns and promotional activities
  • Research market trends, analyse competitors, and develop actionable business strategies to enhance our market positioning
