Key Account Manager / Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Manager required to join a global market leading manufacturer of mechanic engineering products and services.

This Key Account Manager / Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Manager will work on a Hybrid basis looking after large key accounts from within the Defence industry for mechanical engineering services.

Key Account Manager / Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Manager will come from a proven Sales / Account Management background with experience within defence, oil & gas and or similar industrial engineering markets.

Key Account Manager / Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Manager Role:
  • Will work on a Hybrid basis looking after large key accounts from within the Defence industry for mechanical engineering services.
  • Developing and enhancing key account client relations as well as identifying new market potential in industries such as defence, oil & gas and other industrial markets.
  • Liaise with the internal and external sales team and other engineering departments when required
  • Remote / Hybrid role with regular travel to key customer accounts throughout the UK


Key Account Manager / Sales Manager / Aftermarket Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager / Account Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer with knowledge of industrial markets such as defence and oil & gas.
  • Technical engineering qualification, HND, HNC within Mechanical Engineering, or similar would be advantageous.
  • Candidates with a client-focused, commercial or technical HVAC background are encouraged to apply
  • Ideally sold mechanical engineering products / services / contracts such as valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, flow control products, and or other industrial mechanical engineering products / services.
  • Remote role with travel throughout the UK to visit large key accounts and customers.
  • Must have a full UK Driving License
