Business Development Manager - Industrial Camera Technology / Vision Systems
A leading camera technology provider is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the whole of the UK, to lead their new start-up venture.
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding client base, nurturing existing relationships, and promoting cutting-edge solutions. You will work closely with the technical and marketing teams to identify opportunities and provide tailored solutions.
The successful Business Development Manager will have previous experience working with camera technology, vision systems / machine vision technologies, smart code readers, linescan systems or similar and will have previous experience developing new business opportunities.
The Package:
Salary - 40,000-50,000 (DOE)
OTE circa 70,000+

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple industries.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute targeted strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our technical team to deliver bespoke solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Proven track record working as a Business Development Manager (BDM), Sales Manager, Sales Engineer or similar.
- Experience working for a machine vision / coding distributor or OEM.
- A strong understanding of B2B sales processes and solution-based selling.
- Must hold a UK driving licence
