Type:Full-time, Permanent Salary: 34,000 - 38,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday - Friday with alternating Saturdays & Sundays
Job Overview
My client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Trade Counter Assistant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the trade operations, ensuring efficient communication and organisation within the department.
Role responsibilities:
- Greet and serve all Trade Counter customers.
- Develop and grow a customer base.
- Monitor sales to ensure targets are met.
- Building an excellent knowledge of our brands and products to better advise customers.
- Regularly rotating layout within Trade Counter area to provide new points of interest for repeat customers.
- Working with the marketing team on promotions and special offers.
- Working with the ecommerce team to promote stock on online sales platforms.
- Ensure all work is carried out within appropriate Health and Safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in running a trade counter, Building Merchants experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of building materials
- Target driven with sales focus
