Our client, based in Coleshill, is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger) on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start ASAP on a full-time basis. This is an office-based role offering a salary of £25,000 and AAT Study Support.

The ideal candidate will have an accountancy degree or relevant experience in a similar finance role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling the Purchase Ledger including posting invoices onto Sage 50, matching with POs and approving invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries
  • Processing c.500 invoices per month
  • Supporting with weekly payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements at month end
  • Dealing with charge card reconciliations and processing expenses
  • Supporting with AR and other Finance related duties as required

Experience required:

  • Finance and Accountancy Degree or Apprenticeship
  • Experience in a similar role

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Confident communication
  • Sage 50 experience desirable
  • Confident MS Excel user
