We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis to assist with Accounts Receivable queries. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and timely resolution of outstanding payment issues and providing excellent customer service to clients regarding their accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of finance procedures, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Accounts Receivable Management:
- Respond to and resolve incoming queries related to accounts receivable from clients, customers, or internal teams.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions and communications.

Invoicing and Payments:
- Assist with the preparation and dispatch of invoices to customers.
- Track overdue accounts and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment.
- Maintain up-to-date customer payment details and account records.

Customer Communication:
- Communicate with customers via email and phone regarding overdue payments or account issues.
- Provide support to customers on payment methods, terms, and invoice queries.
- Ensure a positive customer experience while maintaining company policies.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable.
- Assist with the preparation of reports on aged debt and cash flow forecasts.
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions in accordance with company policies.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (Sales, Customer Service, etc.) to resolve issues or discrepancies related to customer accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports as needed.

- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle customer queries professionally.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
