Payroll and Accounts Assistant - Remote Opportunity. Ideally candidates will be based in the Midlands.
Due to both internal promotion and consistent business growth our client has a newly created role available for a Payroll and Accounts Assistant. This is a full time permanent opportunity.
Reporting to the Finance Manager and with a dotted line to the Head Of Finance the successful candidate will join a dynamic team and will take on a hands on role. You will play a vital part in ensuring the payroll is managed efficiently for multiple locations.
In addition to payroll, you will also provide support within transactional finance giving you a varied position. If you thrive in a small business environment this is an ideal role for you.
Typical duties:
- Collating payroll information from multiple locations and distributing accurate records to the relevant party for processing
- Inputting payroll date onto the system using Xero and Excel
- Deal with payroll queries
- Processing supplier invoices
- Raising sales invoices
- Chasing payments
- Expenses
- Reconciliations
- Ad hoc reporting
Ideal candidates :
- Experience working in transactional finance
- Recent payroll experience
- Intermediate Excel
- Ambitious and willing to grow with the business
- Ideally working towards AAT or QBE
