Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking for a new opportunity? We are working closely with a fantastic client who are seeking a seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant with Legal experience to manage their financial operations with precision and compliance.

As the Senior Finance Assistant, you will focus on maintaining daily client and office ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SRA rules, managing both accounts payable, accounts receivable and dealing with any client queries in a professional and timely manner. 

Skills required:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a legal firm, a strong understanding of Solicitors SRA Account Rules
  • Excellent attention to detail, and strong communication that will allow you to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Be resilient, detail-oriented, and capable of performing well under pressure. This role carries significant responsibility, so they require someone with prior experience managing high-value transactions
  • Previous experience with preparation and processing of bills, managed ledger postings to client and office accounts, prepared monthly bank reconciliations, and produced monthly reports for all fee earners
