Prospero Teaching is looking for a 1:1 Online Core Subjects Tutor to deliver sessions remotely in KS4 Maths, English and Science.
The OpportunityThis Online Tutor Opportunity is for a professional tutor and qualified UK teacher to bridge learning gaps, raise attainment in KS4. The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering innovative and engaging online learning and a passion for helping students from a range of backgrounds to develop their Maths skills. At Prospero Teaching it is our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We are looking for Maths tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.
Contract/Position Details:路 Location - Online 路 Position - 1:1 Online Tutor 路 Type of work - Contract 路 Start date - ASAP 路 Duration / Likely Duration - Until sufficient progression is made 路 End date (if applicable) - N/A 路 Contract type - Temporary 路 Full-time/part-time - Part time (dependent on pupils needs) 路 Minimum rate of pay - GBP22 per hour (negotiable) 路 Hours - Timetable can vary dependent on pupil availability Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 KS4 Online Tutor:路 QTS or equivalent 路 A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience 路 Be confident teaching sessions online 路 Provide a firm but fair approach 路 Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prosperos course To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 KS4 Core Subjects Tutor must:路 Hold the right to work in the UK 路 Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application 路 Provide two professional child-related references.
