Your new school

As an Art and Design teacher you will be joining a vibrant and diverse secondary school in Birmingham, known for its commitment to creativity and academic excellence, to a former grammar school. The school prides itself on providing a supportive and positive environment where both students and staff can thrive.

Your new role

As an Art and Design Teacher with a specialism in Photography, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to secondary school students. You will work 4 days a week on a long-term placement, starting as soon as possible. Your role will involve planning and preparing lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community, and marking if required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have QTS and previous UK-based teaching experience in a secondary school setting. A strong background in Art and Design, with a particular focus on Photography, is essential. You will also need excellent communication skills, Must enjoy teaching relevant subject, and the ability to help and encourage students.
