Job Description- We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 3-5. You will inspire a love for Art, encourage critical thinking, and support students in achieving their full potential.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Art or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Art at secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
