Job Description

Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Art Teacher, for a secondary school based in North Birmingham. This is a full time role to start as soon as possible on a temporary basis for the remainder of the academic year.

You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive secondary school who are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth for their students. They offer a nurturing and positive environment where both students and staff and encouraged to reach their full potential. The role will include planning and marking responsibilities.

To be successful for this role, you must:

  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS / QTLS)
  • A degree in Art or a related field
  • Have experience teaching Art KS3-4
  • Eligibility to work within the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
  • Have up-to-date safeguarding training dated within the last 12 months; Career Teachers offer a FREE online Safeguarding training course.
  • Provide a full 10 year career history and a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
