A large well respected secondary school in South Birmingham are seeking to appoint an Art & Design Teacher to start work after the Easter break. The role will be on a full time basis but part time hours could be considered if preferred. The post is initially on a long-term basis, with the potential of leading to a permanent contract for the right Art & Design Teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a positive attitude to teaching, an enthusiastic and dynamic approach in the classroom and someone who has high expectations of learning.
In return, the Art & Design will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.
Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants need to have:
- QTS with an Art & Design specialism
- Experience teaching Art & Design up to at least KS4
- Strong classroom management
- A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
