Science Teacher Needed in South Birmingham – KS5 Chemistry
Location:B17, South Birmingham
Pay Rate: £165 - £300+ per day, dependent on experience.
About the Role:
Connex Education is seeking a dedicated Science teacher who can teach Chemistry up to Key Stage 5 at a happy and successful secondary sixth form school in south Birmingham. This is a full-time, long-term role starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the summer term. Our client is an Ofsted Outstanding secondary sixth form with a strong reputation for providing a supportive and successful learning environment.
The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working collaboratively and is always seeking to improve their practice. A positive attitude towards the use of IT is essential, and strong self-organisational skills are a must.
Assignment Details:
This role will commence as soon as possible and will last until the end of the academic year.

Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a secondary school environment is advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- QTS / QTLS or equivalent.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
- An outstanding practitioner with high expectations.
