TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school based in Penkridge who are currently looking for a Food Technology Teacher to join their Design and Technology team! .

The school provides a high standard of education that helps each student achieve their future goals. 

The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

The role is full time and the school is looking to hold interviews/trial days immediately

This is a long term supply position that is expected to last until the end of the academic year, with the potential to go permanent for the right teacher!

You would be working across KS3 and KS4 delivering Food Technology lessons.

You will be responsible for all learning, this will including planning and preparing lessons as well as marking and assessing students work!

Applicants need to have the following:

  • QTS
  • Experience teaching Food Technology up to KS4
  • Food safety qualifications
  • Excellent classroom management
  • A creativity for teaching innovative and engaging lessons using a variety of materials available

*Rate of pay for this role will be dependent on experience and qualifications

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 educational based references to be considered for this role
