Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Design Technology Teacher (Must hold QTS / QTLS), for a sixth form college based in North Birmingham. This is a full time temporary role to start as soon as possible, for One term in the first instance.

You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive secondary school who are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth for their students. They offer a nurturing and positive environment where both students and staff and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Technology Teacher to join the staff team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Design Technology at key stage 3 and 4, and a commitment to inspiring and educate students in the field of DT. You will be responsible for delivering high quality Design Technology lessons, preparing students for academic success and instilling a lifelong love of learning.

Qualifications & Requirements of Design Technology Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Design Technology or a related field
Right to work in the UK.
Experience teaching Design Technology at key stage 3 and 4.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning process.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
