About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to join our dynamic team in March 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students of varying abilities, fostering a love of literature and language, and helping each student reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons that follow the national curriculum.
- Assess and record the progress of each student, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve.
- Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students and encourages active participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and enhance the overall learning experience for students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching English at the secondary school level is preferred but not essential.
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum for English.
Skills:
