They pride themselves on their welcoming and supportive environment where every student can thrive in their future.Job Description- We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire a love for geography, encourage critical thinking, and support students in achieving their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Geography or a related field.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
