Are you a passionate History Teacher who loves bringing the past to life? Tradewind is supporting a well-respected secondary school in South Birmingham in their search for a committed and engaging History specialist to join their Humanities department after Easter.
This full-time, long-term role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 History, with the chance to contribute to a dynamic department that values debate, curiosity, and independent thinking.
About the Role:You'll be joining a school with a strong reputation for academic success and a Humanities team that delivers engaging, thought-provoking lessons. The department supports students in developing a deep understanding of historical events, critical thinking skills, and a passion for the subject that goes beyond the exam board.

What We're Looking For:-
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential

A strong understanding of the History curriculum at KS3 and KS4

An ability to plan engaging lessons that promote enquiry and historical thinking

A reflective and student-centred approach to teaching

A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind

A positive and inclusive learning environment

A passionate and collaborative Humanities department

Supportive SLT and excellent ECT induction
