Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Math Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential to teach Key Stage 5). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mathematics and the ability to engage students of all abilities. You will be responsible for creating an environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging math lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach mathematics to students of varying abilities, ensuring all learners are supported and stretched.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for GCSE exams, focusing on both subject content and exam techniques.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and a love for math.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Engage with parents and carers to ensure the success and well-being of all students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK mathematics curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about mathematics and student success.
