  • Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths via a blended learning approach (online, with occasional face-to-face delivery) – planning your own diary.
  • The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
  • Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.   
  • Monitor learner progression, by offering ongoing feedback and guidance.
  • Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
  • The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
  • Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety. 
Essential Criteria:
  • Must hold a minimum of 5 years' continuous / current employment history.
  • Must be enthusiastic and passionate about Maths and English. 
  • Hold a Maths and/or English at Level 2 / GCSE equivalents.
  • Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train learners.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
