This specialist SEMH school in North Birmingham is looking for a QTS Maths Teacher to join their team and help students develop their numeracy skills and overcome academic barriers.This school has excellent leadership, a strong pastoral support team, and small class sizes, enabling teachers to build positive relationships with students and deliver engaging, tailored lessons.   • Teaching Maths up to GCSE level to small groups of students with SEMH needs.

  • Managing classroom behaviours effectively using a range of de-escalation techniques.
  • Helping students to build confidence in Maths and develop essential problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level, ideally within an SEMH, PRU, or alternative provision setting.

  • A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to teaching.
