Flourish Education is recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a supportive and ambitious secondary school in Harborne. Rated as GOOD by Ofsted, this school is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and nurturing learning environment.

This role is due to start in January until the end of the academic year. It will be for 5 days a week, teaching both KS3 and KS4. You will be expected to plan and mark.

As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Full classroom responsibilities, including marking and assessment.
  • Inspiring students to achieve their full potential through dynamic teaching methods.
  • Maintaining excellent behaviour management in line with school policies.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Required Skills and Experience as a Maths Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths with expertise in teaching KS3 and KS4.
  • A proven track record of excellent behaviour management.
  • A passion for inspiring group and individual pupil performance.

Working as a Maths Teacher for Flourish Education Offers:

  • £160 - £250 per day, equating to £31,200 to £48,750 per annum (based on a 5-day week).
