Maths Teacher – SEMH School Are you a passionate and resilient Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a specialist SEMH school? This supportive and well-led school in South Birmingham is seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to join their team and make a real impact on students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.With small class sizes of 6-10 students, you will have the chance to provide individualised support, deliver creative and engaging Maths lessons, and help students build confidence in their abilities. The school has an exceptional leadership team that prioritises staff well-being, professional development, and student progress.Job Role:
  • Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 & 4 to small groups of students with SEMH needs.
  • Creating engaging, differentiated lessons to ensure every student can succeed.
  • Building strong relationships with students, helping to break down barriers to learning.
  • Working closely with an experienced and supportive team of teachers and teaching assistants.
  • Managing behaviour positively, using de-escalation techniques where necessary.
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, implementing interventions as needed.
