Job Description:
SMART EDUCATION is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary School Art Teacher for a well-regarded school in Rubery, Birmingham.
This role involves providing creative and inspiring teaching to secondary students while supporting the department in maintaining high standards of art education. The school values creativity as a cornerstone of academic, social, and mental well-being, placing children at the center of learning.
This full-time position begins in January 2025 and will run for the remainder of the academic year. Interviews and lesson observations will be held as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will share the school’s passion for collaboration with local communities, schools, and beyond, and will bring a commitment to high-quality teaching that drives student success.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Proven ability to teach the Art National Curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong record of raising student attainment and engagement.
Role Details:
- Salary: £165.21 - £216.34 per day
- Hours: Full-time, 8:15 am - 3:30 pm
- Location: Rubery, Birmingham
- Start Date: January 2025, potentially sooner!
