The school are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a love for PE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to all abilities.
  • Promote physical fitness and healthy living.
  • Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
