We are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher, open to both experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs), who is passionate about teaching and raising educational standards. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to inspiring students and achieving outstanding outcomes in Religious Education.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective Religious Education lessons to students aged 11-16, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the subject.
- Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing timely feedback to encourage and motivate them.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and strategies for continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Engage actively with parents and the school community to support student learning and development.
- Contribute to the school’s Character Programme, promoting a culture of respect, diversity, and academic excellence.
- Proven track record of success in teaching Religious Education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently training as an NQT with a focus on Religious Education.
- Strong commitment to professional development and willingness to engage in continuous learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Flexible, aspirational, and enthusiastic attitude towards education.
- Reflective practitioner with a strong desire to contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
