We are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher, open to both experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs), who is passionate about teaching and raising educational standards. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective Religious Education lessons to students aged 11-16, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the subject.
  • Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing timely feedback to encourage and motivate them.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and strategies for continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Engage actively with parents and the school community to support student learning and development.
  • Contribute to the school’s Character Programme, promoting a culture of respect, diversity, and academic excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of success in teaching Religious Education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently training as an NQT with a focus on Religious Education.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and willingness to engage in continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Flexible, aspirational, and enthusiastic attitude towards education.
  • Reflective practitioner with a strong desire to contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
