Are you a passionate Science Teacher ready to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists? Tradewind are working with a popular and well-led secondary school in South Birmingham who are seeking a dedicated Science specialist to join their team after Easter.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity teaching KS3 and KS4 Science. The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs, and will offer excellent support for the right candidate.
About the Role:You'll be joining a collaborative Science department that values experimentation, critical thinking, and making learning come alive. The team is known for its inclusive approach, strong curriculum planning, and excellent student engagement.
Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, the department will look to use your strengths and support you with subject-specific resources and CPD.
Requirements:-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

A specialism in any Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board content (AQA preferred)

A creative and reflective teaching style

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind)

Enthusiastic students who are eager to learn
