We're currently seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join a thriving Ofsted 'Good' 11-19 Academy in south Birmingham, near the Selly Oak area. This temporary-to-permanent opportunity welcomes applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and offers MPS/UPS with potential TLR for experienced candidates and starts after

Joining this heavily oversubscribed school, known for its inclusive ethos, you'll become a vital part of a large and supportive science department. As a Science Teacher, you'll be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in KS3 and KS4 Science to a diverse range of students, including both mixed ability and high achievers.

In addition to classroom responsibilities, you'll actively participate in parents' evenings and attend weekly school meetings, contributing to the collaborative atmosphere of this friendly Birmingham secondary school.

To ensure your success in this role, you'll need to hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification and have recent experience teaching KS3 & KS4 general Science in the UK within the last 2 years.
