- Making learning fun for students and inspiring a love for all things Science.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to students' individual needs.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, with the support of Teaching Assistants and an outstanding pastoral team.
- Providing one-on-one and small group support as a Science Teacher to students to enhance their understanding of scientific concepts.
- Monitoring student progress, setting goals, and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant subject specialism as a Science Teacher.
- Experience teaching science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ideally within an Alternatives Provision or secondary school with challenging behaviours.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching science.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs as a Science Teacher.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong classroom management.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment , working closely with a dedicated team of teaching and support staff.
