About the Opportunity

Astro Education is looking for a qualified and experienced Science Teacher for a secondaryschool in South Staffordshire. The role involves teachingstudents across Key Stages 3 and 4 the Sciencecurriculum, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the academic year, focusing on raising student attainment and supporting them to reach their full potential. This role will be appointed ona permanent basis and all applicants who hold QTS , including ECT's will be considered.

Required Experience:

  • Experienced teaching Scienceto Key Stage 3 and 4 Students (or similar environment).
  • Hold QTS or equivalent.
  • Be flexible, patient and adaptable
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Will to take on full teaching responsibilities.
  • Open to/ or have experience of working with a variety of SEN.
  • Be able to work core school hours.
