Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Religious Studies Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Religious Studies lessons to students across various year groups. This role requires strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' understanding of religious concepts and ethical issues.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain a well-managed classroom, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Religious Studies or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
