Role: Maths Teacher
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: January 2023
Salary: £130 – £170 per day
GSL Education Hull are recruiting for a Maths Teachers to support Client secondary schools across Birmingham especially around Great Barr and Handsworth areas from September 2024. We will accept applications from full and part time Maths Teachers, for supply and long-term placements.
ECT’s are encouraged to apply as well as FQT’s looking to secure a better work-life balance.
As a Maths Teacher your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and deliver Key Stage 3 or 4 and GCSE/ A levels Maths lessons.
- Help devise an engaging and creative Maths curriculum.
- Use all available resources to engage young people, including ICT and online resources.
- Follow the ethos and policies of the school, promoting positive behaviour throughout the School.
- Promote independent learning for all pupils.
- Take part in staff training days, staff meetings and parent’s evenings.
Minimum candidate requirements:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have recent experience teaching Maths in an education setting.
- Be able to provide 2 professional references, relating to your teaching within the last 2 years.
- Be a passionate educator with the ability to differentiate tasks for differing levels.
- Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
