Position: Social Sciences Teacher

Are you a passionate Social Sciences Teacher looking for a full-time position from January 2025? If so, please contact me immediately. The post has an immediate start, and continue as a 1 year maternity cover, with the possibility for extension. As a Social Sciences Teacher, you'll be responsible for teaching the Social Sciences, including Psychology and Sociology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to KS4 and KS5
- Take on full responsibilities including planning and marking in both subjects.
- Collaborate with a small and supportive department to foster a stimulating learning environment & drive interest in Social Sciences
- Ensure a safe, conducive environment where students can thrive personally and academically
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A genuine passion for education & the Social Sciences
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
