Job Description:

SMART EDUCATION is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School Spanish Teacher to join a thriving Modern Foreign Languages department in a secondary school in Birmingham.

This role will involve delivering engaging Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, helping them develop their language skills and cultural awareness.

This is a full-time, maternity cover position starting after Easter, potential before.

The school is looking to hold interviews and lesson observations as soon as possible.

The school is committed to providing an inclusive and stimulating learning environment, where creativity and innovation are encouraged to enhance students’ academic, social, and mental well-being. They place students at the heart of learning and actively collaborate with local communities and educational partners.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Minimum 6+ months experience teaching Spanish within a secondary school setting Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum Ability to engage and challenge students of all abilities
